Opening in 1991, The Governor's Cup Coffee Roasters is Salem, Oregon’s longest run coffee house and small-batch coffee roasters. They provide their craft with heart and attention to detail that is felt. They are thoroughly passionate about serving a fantastic cup of coffee, and/or one of their crave-worthy breakfast sandwiches.

It’s the perfect space to hang out for a while, whether that be studying, catching up with friends, or making new ones. The energy and magic here is, arugably, unmatched. If you are new to the area and want to get immersed with the locals, grab a cup, take a seat, and soak in the stellar tunes.

In 1994 LifeSource opened to serve the Salem community.

Alex Beamer saw an opportunity to help provide Salem with fresh, healthy, organic food from local Willamette Valley farms and businesses.

In 2023, Diane and Dan (owners of Wavra Farms & Nursery) started The Indoor Winter Market at Wavra Farms. Their purpose was to give their customers a place to visit and shop and also allow 55 vendors a place to sell their goods in the winter-time when other markets were closed. This market also made it possible for Wavra Farms to stay open year-round, so it was a win for all. They are now entering their 27th year as a retail nursery!! Wavra Farms is a family owned and operated business with close ties to the community.
